Electrical Technician Program in Flagler Florida

If you’re thinking a career as an electrical technician might be right for you, look no further than CBT College. CBT’s Hialeah campus, offers an eight-month, 24-credit technical diploma curriculum for potential electrical technicians.

Once you enroll, you’ll receive classroom instruction—in classes such as residential wiring, blueprint reading and circuitry—from professionals who are familiar with the technology industry. You will also get real-life, hands-on experience that preps you for a career as an electrician. Graduates leave the program with entry-level proficiency in the skills needed to enter the electrical industry.

Upon completion of CBT’s Electricity Technician program, you will know how to read and understand applications that solve technological issues, develop successful problem-solving techniques and repair and install residential equipment. Many graduates choose to specialize in either maintenance and repair or construction, but CBT’s Electricity Technician program offers an intro to both. CBT College also works closely with “Simply Electrical”, a division of CBT College’s School of Technology, where top students under the supervision of certified staff and faculty have the opportunity to gain “real-life” professional training in the electrical field.

Graduates of the electrical program have gone on to work under the direction of senior electricians for construction companies, electrical contracting companies or even power companies. Still other graduates have gone on to work for themselves as independent contractors. CBT College offers career service assistance and provides resources, information and techniques to prepare students to be competitive in today’s job market.

Enrolling in the program at the Hialeah campus offers instructors with teaching knowledge in their experienced field. CBT College boasts a 15:1 student-to-teacher ratio across all campuses which facilitates real and personal interaction between students and teachers. The Electricity Technician program at CBT College’s Hialeah campus is your first step toward a rewarding career in a growing field.
