COURSE OVERVIEW

The NCCER Core Curriculum is an essential foundation course designed for individuals entering the construction industry. This comprehensive program introduces fundamental safety practices, construction math, tool usage, material handling, and employability skills necessary for success in various trades. The course provides hands-on training and theoretical knowledge to prepare students for entry-level positions in the skilled trades while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive the NCCER Core Credential, a nationally recognized certification that serves as a prerequisite for all NCCER craft training programs.

This course serves as a steppingstone for specialization in specific trades such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and welding, ensuring that students have a solid foundation before advancing into craft-specific training.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
