Miami, FL (March 31st, 2016) – CBT Technology Institute is proud to announce its support and participation of the BricktasticBuilderz Contest created by Bricks 4 Kidz Kendall.

Bricks 4 Kidz is an organization that is devoted to providing an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where they learn, build, and play with LEGO Bricks. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education, built around their proprietary model plans, created by engineers and architects. Their programs provide a safe, relaxed learning environment where kids learn through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity.

The contest was held at the West End Art Fair, and included over 60 participants from families located in the Kendall area. Along with the support of Commissioner Juan C. Zapata, his team and CBT Technology Institute, Brick 4 Kidz was able to build replicas of the 4 most representative man-made structures around the world.

In 20-minute slots, the participating children tried to build the most accurate LEGO version of the Sphinx of Giza, the Eiffel Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Great Wall of China. Judges, provided by CBT Technology Institute, picked the best model based on construction, model similarity, use of parts, creativity and their overall completeness.

There was a total of 4 winners from each of the structures previously mentioned, and from there the jury selected a final winner who won a programmable Robotic Arm, provided by CBT Technology Institute.
