(Miami, FL.). – CBT Technology Institute, the technical-vocational school based in South Florida, announces the relocation of its headquarters to their Cutler Bay Campus this past October.  The new corporate offices will house the Presidency and the General Management of the institution, along with the Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Computer Science, Admissions, and the Student Services departments, along with the Division of Continuing Education and Professional Development.

“Being away of a campus for so long, makes you lose touch with its life. So, we wanted to really be able to see the students, to talk one-on-one with them, to get this “managing by walking around” opportunity, and more importantly, to hear from them what they like, what they don’t” said Monica Llerena, President/CEO of CBT Technology Institute. “We have been listening to our students and we are doing this move to be able to resolve things more immediately,” she said.

Established in 1989, CBT Technology Institute has continuously served the Miami-Dade County community as a reliable center for technical and vocational education across its three campuses located in Hialeah, Flagler St. and Cutler Bay. Currently, CBT Technology Institute has Business, Technology, Allied Health Sciences, Language, and Continuing Education and Professional Development schools.

The institution offers Diploma programs and Associate Degrees of one and two years respectively in areas related to Construction (with courses in Electrician, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning), Business (with offerings in Business Administration and Office Management) and Computing Sciences (with Network Administration and Computer Support Specialist programs). CBT Technology Institute also offers programs within the Health field such as Medical Assistant, Medical Coding and Billing diplomas, Associate Degrees in Health Information Technology and Medical Assistant Technology. In the Language School, CBT Technology Institute offers English as a Second Language (ESOL) courses across different levels.

The School of Continuing Education and Professional Development of CBT Technology Institute deserves a special mention. Students in this School pursue refresher programs specially designed to prepare them to apply for accreditations and licenses that certify them as qualified professionals in their areas of performance. This division, also known as NDS (Non-Degree Seeking), offers workshops, refresher courses, and talks on the latest trends in careers and labor markets.

The new CBT Technology Institute headquarters are located at Point Royale Mall, 19151 S Dixie Hwy, Cutler Bay, FL 33157. The opening hours of the corporate offices are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. For more information about programs and activities call (786) 567-3162.
