Miami, FL (March 23st, 2017) – CBT Technology Institute is proud to announce their first Career Fair of the year.
The CBT Technology Institute Job Fair was held at the Flagler Campus, and included the participation of over 10 local employers. Students, graduates and members of the community in search for better career opportunities were able to network and connect with multiple employers from both, public and private sectors, who were eager to hire for immediate openings in various industries.
The participating employers included companies such as Westaff, Career Source South Florida, First Data, Open Corporation, @Work, Relay, AARP Foundation, University of Miami, and others.
By supporting and hosting this Job Fair, the Career Services team, led by Nelida Soto, was able to strengthen and develop the interviewing and networking skills of CBT Technology Institute’s student body, and bring them one step closer in their journey to “Being More”.
The Career Services Department at CBT Technology Institute provides both, students and employers, with services and resources related to the job search, hiring and employment process. Their main goal is to supply students with resources, information and techniques to prepare them to be competitive individuals in today’s market place.

CBT Technology Institute provides career training with a focus on technology and sciences at its five locations across Miami-Dade County, including Cutler Bay, Flagler, Hialeah and Miami Gardens. Over the past 28 years, the organization has graduated thousands of students into the Miami-Dade county workforce throughout more than 60 graduation ceremonies.
Strong involvement in local chambers has opened up opportunities internally and for our students and graduates.
CBT Technology Institute also participates in the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program and is nationally accredited by A.C.I.C.S., licensed by the Commission of Independent Education and certified by the U.S. Department of Education.
