DIGITAL DESIGNER II

JOB SUMMARY:

To create, plan, evaluate, and produce different illustrative solutions for the company’s collateral/marketing materials, and be able to provide solutions in various forms including: electronic, print and film media. Basic skill set include: photography, animation, color, illustration, and type.

REPORTING LINE:Reports to the Director of Marketing. Co-Supervised by the Assistant Director of Marketing

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

May include any and/or all of the following:

  • Attend to all weekly marketing meetings, brainstorming meetings and corporate meeting when asked
  • Aid in the development and design of layout of leaflets, brochures, annual reports, newspapers, magazines, corporate reports, annual reports, journals along with many other types of publications required by the marketing department.
  • Uses advanced graphic software such as the Adobe Suite to lay out, design draw and design advertising creative.
  • Required to produced and maintain a repository of photo assets to be used in all marketing materials
  • Required to collect footage of events, BROLL, and other video assets for internal video production
  • Participate in all marketing events as supporting staff
  • Provide monthly video content in the form of tutorials
  • Required to hold membership of a professional organization in his/her field

REQUIRED SKILL SET (technical & non-technical):

  • Proficient in Adobe Suite
  • Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects or related Video editing software
  • Photography Skills
  • Commercial art design experience
  • Knowledge in Mac OS and Windows OS
  • Ability to create advertising copy
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and work flow with good tracking and record keeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing accordingly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Strong interpersonal and high quality customer service skills standards
  • Versatile, flexible, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to convey a professional image, and effectively represent the organization as appropriate in its relationship with the business and government community

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to:

  • Associate in Science Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Arts or related.
  • 3 years of progressive experience in the field.
  • Professional Graphic Portfolio (digital or printed)
