When I do memorize a term, I tend to forget it afterwards. But if I read and understand it well, I don't forget it right away. It stays in my memory and just need to refresh if I forget about it. Be we as job seekers would tend to accept the job that we landed just to have one. I really do believe that getting a good and honest resume will surely land you a job. But this is just a start they still need to assess you on how you do your job. So be sure you have both quality the you should posses. HVAC will always be in demand in any area, and people should feel MORE confident in professionals that are specifically trained to handle heating and cooling related tasks. As your post states, with training you WILL reach high levels of knowledge and develop skills for the real world - things that nobody should ever look down upon.
