| Course Description : This seminar will meet the four hour requirement that most people in the health field need. Topics include : HIV/AIDS definitions, modes of transmission, high risk groups, stages of HIV infection, testing and treatment for HIV, worldwide and US statistics, legal issues regarding HIV, confidentiality of the information, as well as the use of Universal Precautions, personal protective equipment, handwashing and other infection control procedures to prevent transmission of the virus. | ||
