 The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Technology Associate Degree Program is designed to prepare students for and entry level position in the air conditioning, refrigeration and heating industry. The program includes theoretical and hands on courses inthe installation, basic design, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating equipment. There are also courses in computation to allow students be able to navigate some computer technology and internet; and the necessary general education courses. This program will prepare the students to take the Journeyman Certification, when they have the required years of experience. Consult with an air conditioning advisor prior to registration.
